Your health & safety are our first priority, so we have been closely monitoring the rapidly-changing situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) and taking preventative measures with the goal of continuing to safely serve you & the rest of our Guilford community.
For this reason, we are suspending the following support groups/events:
- The HOPE Support Group will be temporarily suspended, but participants are welcome to call Kellin’s main number at 336-429-5600 and request an individual peer Teletherapy session until group resumes.
- All meetings & support groups at the First Lutheran Church have been canceled until April 4th. This includes Family Support Group and the Education Meeting on March 31st.
- There will be no Mental Health Greensboro Peer Support Meetings at the church.
- We will not be holding the Bedlam movie screening. We will release more information as we receive it.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update everyone if we cancel or postpone anything else on our calendar. In addition, we urge you to follow the guidance provided by the CDC, WHO and local health departments. We know there is a lot of information out there; for the most current information on COVID-19, including government health guidelines, visit:
As we create physical distance between ourselves due to the Coronavirus, I’d like to encourage each of you to also be diligent about staying connected to one other. Especially to those who are vulnerable or susceptible to depression and suicidal thoughts. As always, if you or someone you know is in crisis or in need of support, please reach out for help.
Thank you all so much for your understanding!
