This October, earn your Mental Health First Aid certification at Mental Health Greensboro!
This national certification training program teaches risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help. Spaces are limited to 10 participants this time around, so register yourself or your team today! All trainings will be held at Mental Health Greensboro and directions and parking details available here.
Wednesday, Oct. 23rd and Thursday, Oct. 24th
12:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Note: This is a two-day training course. Registration covers both days, and participants must attend both days in order to receive certificates and any continuing education credits.
The UNCG Psychology Clinic will be hosting a 12-week skills-based Group session.
You may be eligible to attend if you are living with anxiety, depression, or those coping with difficult emotions like anger, loneliness, and stress.
Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 6-7:3 pm and each session costs $10 and are for those aged 18 and older.

In addition to the Reaching UP Group, UNCG will also be hosting a 12-week session focused on DBT Skills!
This series will be available to adults who want to increase emotional control and cope with distress in their lives.
Each session will also cost $10 and will take place on Thursday evenings from 6-8:00 pm.
